ÿþ<h1>BCMS In Memoriam/Briefs</h1> <p>IN MEMORIAM<br /> J. Bradley Aust Jr. MD, PhD, a General/Thoracic Surgeon, died on Wednesday, March 17, 2010. Dr. Aust was the founding chairman of the Department of Surgery of UTHSCSA in 1965 when the institution was named the University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Constance &#8220;Connie&#8221; Aust, his six children, and numerous relatives, colleagues, peers and friends. There will be an opportunity for general Q&amp;A at the end of the program. Reyna, MD, a member Urologist, was named one of three ICONS in Healthcare Honorees at the April 8, 2010 CentroMed Gala. Sister Michele O&#8217;Brien and State Senator Leticia Van de Putte were the other honorees. CentroMed, first operating as El Centro del Barrio from 1973 through 2001, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Federally-Qualified Health Center.
